Gruppo Astrofili Deep Space - Planetario di Lecco
The Deep Space Astrofili Group of Lecco was founded in October 1996.
In 2005 obtained the management of the Civic Planetarium from the Municipality of Lecco.
Goals:
- gather astronomy enthusiasts from the Lecco area to allow them to improve their theoretical and practical knowledge and to share their experiences and skills;
- disseminate knowledge and study of the sky to the population, through lessons and meetings at schools, associations or private individuals;
- provide help and support to anyone wishing to approach astronomy for the first time;
- be a reference for the institutions as regards the initiatives concerning astronomy.
